We strengthen collaboration to improve platforms and partnerships for global and local health, social impact, and sustainable development

Led by Dr Cam Willis and Dr Nic Vogelpoel, Day Four Projects is a research, evaluation, co-design, and knowledge translation consultancy focused on public and global health, social impact, sustainable development, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

We work with international and domestic partners from multilateral organisations, governments, NGOs, philanthropy, social enterprises, and think tanks on assignments that often involve:
• Scaling social innovation and collaboration in complex settings
• Embedding lived experience in research, co-design, and evaluation
• Developing and evaluating multi-stakeholder platforms and partnerships
• Designing whole-of-organisation impact measurement and management systems
• Facilitating leadership action planning, system mapping, Theory of Change, and strategy design

As a learning partner, we marry theory and practice so that pathways from vision to action are clear, meaningful, and fit for purpose. Skilled in navigating high profile and strategic dialogues with complex organisations, we enjoy working with diverse power dynamics and structures, and navigating these to maximise equitable engagement, participation, and inclusion.

We have deep experience in engaging marginalised and vulnerable groups and a range of individuals and populations, including First Nations people, LGBTIQ+ people, refugees and migrants, and young people. As experienced online and in-person facilitators, we create safe and innovative spaces for all lived experiences.

We create accessible, culturally relevant, and aesthetically compelling knowledge translation products and experiences to optimise findings, support dissemination and implementation, and communicate new ways of thinking.

Our approach is principled, systems informed, and underpinned by robust qualitative and quantitative methods. We also bring fresh perspectives from our adjunct roles at the University of Melbourne and Swinburne University, and affiliations with leading engagement and partnership specialists iap2 and the Partnerships Brokers Association.
