2020 – 2022: Funded by the Benioff Ocean Initiative and hosted by the World Resources Institute, Friends of Ocean Action is a unique collaboration with work ranging from deep sea mining to sustainable tuna initiatives. In 2020, after completing a review of the systems and processes Friends of Ocean Action were using to monitor and evaluate impact, we supported the global team in co-designing Friends of Ocean Action’s shared values, strategies for change, and actionable roadmaps for guiding dispersed teams to work together to create systems change.
Day Four Projects also undertook an evaluation of the Virtual Oceans Dialogue - the online summit to fast-track actions to improve ocean and planetary health hosted by the World Economic Forum, Friends of Ocean Action and UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean in 2022.
