Co-Designing a Research Study on the Value of Volunteering

2023 – ongoing: The Australian Volunteers Program is a longstanding mechanism by which the Australian Government contributes skilled volunteers to partner organizations in 25 countries around the world. In this project, we co-designed a research study focused on the value of volunteering.

Beginning in Vanuatu, this study has brought together a Co-Design Team of local and international stakeholders with lived experience of volunteering, including diverse perspectives from across sectors and settings. We have facilitated a process by which this team have engaged in all research processes, including developing research questions, a study protocol, and will be leaders in the implementation of the study in 2023.
