2022: In this project we supported FYA to implement a co-design process with young people focused on developing a framework for youth power. This process involved development of a co-design team, and associated processes to design, prototype and test a framework and indicators for measuring youth power in varying contexts and settings.
A key component of this work was a scoping review of existing frameworks and tools for assessing power, particularly youth power. The framework and associated tools developed through this process are now being used by FYA to inform program design, implementation, and evaluation – allowing a focus on youth power that has previously been challenging to capture.
